What do you get when you combine Broadway’s greatest creative team and the world’s most famous fairytale? Inside Broadway has had a very long relationship with The Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization and is pleased to be collaborating with them once again to bring this enchanting story and wonderful music to the stage. Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical Cinderella has enchanted audiences for 50 years. Written for the rising star Julie Andrews for live network television in 1957, Cinderella has had many incarnations including a successful tour and a recent TV version staring R&B stars Brandy and Whitney Houston. We are delighted to present a new live 50-minute version that will tour to school auditoriums.
Songs from this magical musical include In My Own Little Corner, The Prince is Giving A Ball, Impossible, Ten Minutes Ago and The Stepsister’s Lament. This timeless story of a mistreated heroine, two spiteful stepsisters, a charming prince and a magical fairy godmother will surely leave your students believing that dreams can come true. You don’t need a Fairy Godmother to have Cinderella come to your school, just call us to book your date!
